Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Arusha

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you into a waiting car for your transport to Ilboru Safari Lodge in Arusha. At the hotel, our representative will give you a quick safari briefing before leaving you to rest and enjoy supper.

Day 2 : Arusha – Tarangire National Park

We leave early in the morning after breakfast for Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire River, which passes through the park, is named for it. During the dry season, this “river of warthogs” is the only source of water for animals in the area. Elephant grass, acacia forests, and luxuriant groundwater forest are among the thick vegetation found in some areas. Elephant families are well-known in the park, and they may often be seen congregating along the river. Giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest are also possible sightings. A variety of predators, including lions and leopards, keep a careful eye on these creatures. Tarangire National Park has more breeding species of birds than any other park on the planet.

We travel directly to our well picked hotel near Tarangire for supper and an overnight stay after lunch and a lengthy wildlife drive.

Day 3 : Tarangire – Manyara

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park, passing through the Masai steppe and into the Great Rift Valley. You’ll check in at the park gate and have a brief game drive before heading to the lodge/tented camp for a delicious lunch. Then you’ll unwind until later in the afternoon, when you’ll return to the park for a sunset game drive. This lovely national park is known for its evergreen woods, which are home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, gazelles, and a variety of other species. The tree climbing lions are more renowned here, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see them as well.
